Here is my latest project. Its a wonderful hand cast glass suncatcher or wall hanging. This one was my second attempt. The first one wasn't melted enough when I removed it in the morning from my kiln, but when I put it in the kiln to refire it, it broke into pieces. I think I heated it up too quickly. So the second piece, the one pictured above was heated much more slowly and left to soak for a longer period of time and at a higher temperature. I drilled a hole in the top for hanging, too.
The piece has amazing detail which I love! You can even see Hanuman's fingers (the Hindu God represented in the piece). There are some slight bubbles or blemishes but I left them purposely since it makes it look hand made and not totally perfect.
